The Womanly Method: Building a Wellness Ecosystem for Inside Out Longevity

In the heart of Jumeirah, a new kind of sanctuary has emerged that defies traditional labels. Founded by French entrepreneur Laetitia Martins, Womanly Wellness is not simply a spa, a clinic, or a fitness studio; it is a modern sanctuary designed to move women out of “survival mode” and into a state of parasympathetic restoration. Built on the belief that a woman’s “glow” is a biological outcome of internal hormonal health rather than a temporary aesthetic goal, Womanly Wellness has created a 360-degree ecosystem where clinical efficacy meets a deeply feminine “Architecture of Calm”. Housed in a thoughtfully curated Jumeirah villa, the ecosystem integrates advanced biohacking tools like the Dream Machine and Infrared Saunas, with ancient, high-touch rituals such as Renata França-inspired lymphatic drainage and Traditional Chinese Medicine. By prioritizing the Infradian Rhythm, Laetitia empowers women to train with their cyclical hormones rather than against them, offering everything from high-intensity Barre Power to restorative Feminine Flow yoga. In this exclusive interview, Laetitia Martins takes us beyond the surface to explore how Womanly is redefining luxury wellness through education and community. From navigating the complexities of perimenopause and postpartum to the power of non-invasive, integrative beauty, we discuss a vision of wellness that is grounded, radiant, and unapologetically womanly.
  1. How do your treatments and rituals support biological longevity and “well-aging” rather than just providing a temporary aesthetic fix?
At Womanly, I design treatments to work with the body’s long-term biology rather than chasing short-lived aesthetic results. Every ritual is rooted in supporting circulation, lymphatic flow, and nervous system regulation, because these systems determine how the body ages over time. When inflammation is reduced, detoxification pathways are supported and tissues are properly oxygenated, the body functions more efficiently overall, with improved metabolism, immunity and digestion. As a result, the skin naturally becomes clearer, firmer and more radiant. Unlike approaches that immobilize a muscle to temporarily soften a line, our face rituals work with the muscles, fascia and circulation to stimulate collagen production, improve tone and support healthy tissue function. Aging is not something to fight, it is something to support well. My focus is on treatments that compound quietly and sustainably, strengthening the body’s ability to function and regenerate on its own for long-term results. At Womanly, we are supporting the body so it can age better, with strength, and vitality The more we invest in prevention and integrative, alternative approaches, the more resilient and balanced the body becomes over time.
  1. How do your mindful movement classes and recovery sessions account for the Infradian Rhythm to ensure women are training with their hormones rather than against them?
At Womanly, our movement and recovery practices are designed specifically for the female body. Women are cyclical by nature, not linear, and the infradian rhythm influences energy levels, strength, recovery capacity and emotional state throughout the month. Training should therefore adapt to these natural fluctuations rather than override them. We intentionally work with a diversity of teachers and energies, from softer and more nurturing approaches to stronger and more intense ones. This allows each woman to choose what she needs at the moment, depending on her cycle, her nervous system and her life rhythm. Some days call for intensity and strength through classes like Pilates Sculpt or Barre Power. Other days invite slower, more embodied movement focused on hips and heart opening through Feminine Flow. At times, the body may be able to move, but the mind needs rest, which is where Sound Healing, Breathwork and Meditation support deep release and nervous system regulation. By offering a wide range of classes and recovery practices, we empower women to train with their hormones rather than against them, building strength, balance and resilience while honoring the body’s natural intelligence.
  1. In an integrative wellness model, how do you see the relationship between a womans internal hormonal health and her external “glow”?
An integrative model to support hormonal health for women must include the full foundation: nutrition, sleep, stress management, physical activity and gut health. When those pillars are supported, the body functions more efficiently, inflammation calms, circulation improves, and the skin naturally becomes clearer, firmer and more luminous. At Womanly, we treat glow as an outcome, not a goal. We support the inside first, so the outside can naturally reflect balance, vitality and well-aging. Practically, this is exactly how we cure the Womanly ecosystem. Heat therapy is incredibly supportive for women, both for recovery and nervous system downshifting, which is why we integrate infrared sauna sessions. Lymphatic drainage is one of the most powerful tools for hormonal balance because it supports detoxification pathways, reduces stagnation and helps the body regulate inflammation and fluid retention. Our Dream Machine is a biohacking tool designed to help reset the nervous system, reduce stress and improve sleep, which are some of the most underestimated drivers of hormonal health. Even our café and concept store are curated through this lens, with dairy/gluten/refined sugar free offerings, and a selection of products chosen without endocrine disruptors, so women can reduce toxic load in their everyday rituals. And yes, we also support the visible glow directly, but in a way that stays aligned with the body. We offer non-invasive, natural skin treatments like the Green Peel and LED light therapy to stimulate renewal, calm inflammation and support collagen.
  1. How does moving a woman from “survival mode” to “parasympathetic mode” through your rituals impact her physical recovery and long-term healthspan?
When a woman is stuck in survival mode, her body stays in a constant stress response and prioritizes coping over repair. This slows recovery, increases inflammation, disrupts hormones and compromises sleep and digestion. By shifting her into parasympathetic mode through our rituals, we activate the state where the body can regenerate. At Womanly, this is the foundation of everything we do. Through the power of touch like lymphatic drainage, heat-based recovery with infrared sauna, and nervous system tools like the Dream Machine, we help the body feel safe enough to let go. When the nervous system downshifts, circulation improves, tension releases, detox pathways work more efficiently and sleep quality often improves, which directly impacts how a woman recovers, how she metabolizes stress and how she ages over time. It is not just relaxation; it is a biological reset that supports long term health span.
  1. How do your functional beauty drinks and café offerings complement physical treatments to create a 360-degree approach to female wellbeing?
At Womanly, the café is an extension of the treatment rooms. Our functional beauty drinks complement physical treatments by supporting women from the inside out, hydration, digestion, energy and skin health, so the results of a facial or a body ritual are not just external, they are reinforced internally. For now we focus primarily on functional drinks, with options designed to be gluten free, dairy free and refined sugar free to reduce inflammation and support hormonal balance. We are also expanding the menu with healthy snacks and beauty focused ingredients like collagen, and soon adaptogens, so women can build daily rituals that support long term well-being, not just a one hour appointment. We are also introducing a functional herbal tea inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine, with different blends designed to support specific needs such as gut health, postpartum recovery, and hormonal balance.
  1. How does the “Architecture of Calm” in your Jumeirah villa contribute to the clinical efficacy of the treatments provided?
Womanly is not a Spa, not a Clinic, not a Beauty Salon, not Studio. It’s a new kind of wellness space. A modern sanctuary for women. At Womanly, the space is part of the experience. Before starting the fitout, I worked with a Feng Shui consultant and we thought through every single detail with one intention in mind: to create a place where women instantly feel good. From the flow of the rooms to the energy of each corner, everything is designed to feel grounded, high vibration and deeply feminine. I wanted it to feel like a beautiful home you can exhale in, not a clinical setting and not a busy commercial space. This Jumeirah villa holds that softness and privacy, so women arrive and immediately feel calmer, more present, and more connected to themselves.
  1. How does Womanly act as an educational platform for women navigating complex life stages like perimenopause or postpartum?
Womanly acts as an educational platform by supporting women through every phase, cycle and transformational period of their life, from postpartum to perimenopause and beyond. This has been my mission since I started practicing lymphatic drainage years ago: helping women understand their bodies instead of feeling disconnected from them. With Womanly, I now have the space and ecosystem to go further, not only through treatments, but through education and community. Women today are asking better questions. They want to talk about energy, cycles, inflammation, hormones, sleep and longevity. At the same time, many are carrying a higher stress load and more nervous system dysregulation, which creates confusion and overwhelm. My goal is to translate complex wellness concepts into simple rituals women can repeat consistently, grounded in prevention and the basics: nervous system regulation, lymphatic health, sleep, recovery and sustainable movement. We also approach everything through a feminine lens. Women do not need heavier routines or more pressure, they need more regulation, self-care, support and consistency. Community is a pillar of the Womanly method, because belonging and co regulation matter. That is why we host masterclasses, workshops and events to discuss key topics, normalize these life stages, and give women practical tools they can actually apply in real life.
  1. Does the future of luxury wellness lie in high-tech intervention, or in the high-touch, woman-to-woman connection that defines your brand?
I believe the future of luxury wellness is not an either or. It is the intelligent integration of high touch and high technology, with the human connection always leading. I truly believe in the power of touch and in the wisdom of traditional methods, and I also believe technology can be incredible when science and biohacking genuinely serve wellbeing. That is exactly how I built Womanly. We combine ancient, proven practices with modern tools that support recovery, nervous system regulation and longevity, without trying to force the body into extreme change. When it comes to devices, I encourage women to stay away from trends, especially anything painful, or designed to bruise the tissue. I personally stay away from invasive techniques because for me, well aging should feel supportive, not aggressive. Education is a big part of this. Luxury today is not about having the most devices, it is about discernment. Knowing what is truly effective, what is safe, and what supports long term health, and being guided by women who care enough to help you make the right choice.
