Inside Dubai’s Most Anticipated Wellness-Driven Residences

Dubai’s skyline is renowned for pushing boundaries, and the city’s latest addition, Janu Dubai, continues that tradition, but this time with a focus on wellness, sociability and holistic living. Part of the prestigious Aman Group, Janu, whose name is derived from the Sanskrit word for “soul, is more than a hotel or residence; it’s a lifestyle ecosystem designed to ignite creativity, foster meaningful connection, and bring a sense of vitality to everyday living.

Launching in the heart of Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), a district synonymous with design, art, and culture, Janu Dubai marks the brand’s Middle East debut and its first residential offering in the region, following the success of Janu Tokyo in 2024. It is a space where contemporary design meets wellness-led living, and where every element, from architecture to amenities, is crafted with intention and soul.

Architecture that inspires

The building itself is a statement of artistry and vision. Designed by Pritzker Prize–winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, Janu Dubai is the firm’s first project in the Middle East. The tower introduces a bold, sculptural form that contrasts beautifully with the polished skyline of DIFC while embracing a human scale rarely seen in high-rise developments.

Its tactile, mineral façade and expansive outdoor terraces allow for a seamless dialogue between interior spaces and the lush, verdant surroundings, including sweeping views of the Zabeel Palace Gardens, the Burj Khalifa, and the ever-changing DIFC cityscape.

Inside, the 18-metre-high lobby sets the tone, evoking a sense of arrival that is at once monumental and welcoming. From levels 6 to 16, the 150-key hotel blends design, comfort, and social energy. Above, a limited collection of 57 branded residences occupies the sculpted upper floors, featuring expansive layouts, panoramic views, and terraces designed to bring nature into daily life.

A lifestyle built around wellness and connection

Janu Dubai isn’t just about luxury, but about living well too. Wellness is integrated into every corner of the development, from the residents-only infinity-edge pool on the 34th floor to the exclusive Wellness Centre, which encourages holistic movement, energy, and shared experiences. For those seeking balance in a bustling city, Janu offers spaces for both private reflection and social engagement, whether it’s a morning Pilates session on a sunlit terrace or an evening mixology ritual at the Janu Club’s lounge and cigar bar.

The concept of wellness extends beyond physical fitness. At Janu, it encompasses social connection, mental well-being, and lifestyle convenience. Residents have access to Janu Private Office services, offering bespoke travel planning, curated experiences, and tailored wellness journeys. Every touchpoint is designed to simplify life while encouraging meaningful engagement with the community, the city, and one’s own well-being.

A new standard for urban residences

Privacy and exclusivity are central to the Janu experience. Residents enter through a dedicated lobby and private lifts that take them directly to their homes. The entire 34th floor is a sanctuary for owners, featuring panoramic city views, a private lounge and bar, and direct access to wellness facilities. These penthouse-style experiences allow residents to retreat from the bustle below while remaining fully connected to the vibrancy of the city.

Beyond privacy, Janu is all about connection and community. The limited collection of residences fosters interaction without sacrificing individuality. Shared terraces, landscaped gardens, and social spaces encourage residents to engage, whether over a morning coffee, a sunset yoga session, or a curated event hosted by the team.

Dining, culture and creativity

Food and culture are integral to the Janu lifestyle. The hotel’s destination restaurants and curated mixology experiences encourage residents and visitors alike to explore new tastes and social rhythms. DIFC’s cultural and creative hub provides a dynamic backdrop, with galleries, design spaces, and art events just steps away from the residence.

This synergy between environment and design reinforces Janu’s ethos: living well means connecting deeply with people, a place, and one self.

Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, encapsulates the brand’s philosophy: “With Janu Dubai, we are creating more than a place to stay. Cultivating sociability, shaped by creativity, bold design and vibrancy, Janu Residences embodies the essence of the brand.” The project blends architectural ingenuity with wellness-led living, ensuring that every resident can enjoy a life that is expressive, balanced, and connected.

Looking ahead, the Janu vision is expanding across the Middle East and beyond, with upcoming properties on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in the Turks and Caicos, among other locations. The brand’s trajectory signals a global redefinition of hospitality and residential living, one where design, wellness, and community converge to create a soulful experience.

With Janu Dubai, the Aman Group is showing that luxury is no longer measured solely by space or opulence, but by connection, wellness and the richness of everyday life.
